Dr. Jomkwan Polparsi is Assistant President for Research and Innovation and Director of the Central Library at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) in Bangkok, Thailand, where she leads institution-wide initiatives in library innovation, digital learning resources and ICT-enhanced teaching and learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA, which underpins her work at the intersection of research in library science, technology and higher education leadership. She also chairs the Educational Resources and Technology Committee of the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT) and the Thai Private University Libraries (ThaiPUL) Network, advancing national collaboration, resource sharing and policy development across private university libraries. As UTCC’s AI Master, she provides strategic leadership for AI-related research and teaching, embedding responsible and innovative AI use across disciplines. Most recently, under her direction, UTCC Central Library became Thailand’s first member organization of UNESCO’s Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Alliance, positioning the university as a regional leader in AI literacy, media and information literacy, and future-oriented academic library innovation.
